The corporate offices of the Benefits Board and the Church Loan Fund in Cleveland will be open next week during General Assembly. While members of our staff will be available to talk with those attending the General Assembly in Nashville, we will also have staff in our home office to provide services as well. Therefore, if you are unable to attend the General Assembly but need assistance from the Board or the Church Loan Fund, do not hesitate to call on our competent staff in our office in Cleveland. If you are going to be in Nashville for the General Assembly, we invite you to drop by our booth in the Exhibit Hall.
The staff at the General Assembly will be available to address your pension/retirement questions, as well as your church loan questions. Our Director of Member Services, Donna Hendren; our Vice President, Gayla Iles; the Chief Operating Officer of the Church Loan Fund, Angie Conine; and our President and Chief Executive Officer, Art Rhodes, will be at the General Assembly to address your concerns and questions.
In addition, Mr. Rhodes will be leading a “Lunch and Learn” Seminar on Wednesday during the General Assembly from noon until 1:00 pm. During the session, Mr. Rhodes will address the Affordable Care Act, the ministerial housing allowance legal challenge, the new overtime rules, and several other timely subjects. The session is entitled “Legal Issues” and is currently scheduled to be held in Room 102 of the Music City Convention Center. While lunch will be available for a small fee, there is no charge to attend the seminar.
We look forward to seeing you in Nashville.
